Mentorship Terms

These Mentorship Terms (“Terms”) govern participation in mentorship programs and coaching sessions (“Mentorship”) offered by Niki Millions, a DBA of NorthStar Legacy Holdings Inc., and Begin Within Publishing, LLC (collectively, “we,” “us,” or “our”). By enrolling in or participating in Mentorship, you (“Mentee”) agree to these Terms.

These Terms work alongside our general Terms of Use, Disclaimer, and Privacy Policy. Where there is a conflict specifically regarding mentorship or coaching, these Terms control.

Program Description

Mentorship is offered in the following format(s): [1:1 sessions / group mentorship / cohort-based program and more]. Each program includes 1-on-1 or group sessions over, delivered via video call or in-person, along with any supporting materials provided as part of the program.

Program details, including format, duration, and deliverables, will be confirmed at the time of enrollment and may vary between offerings.

Nature of the Relationship

Mentorship is intended to provide guidance, encouragement, accountability, and personal-development support. It is coaching and mentorship only. It is not:

  • Medical or mental-health treatment, diagnosis, therapy, or counseling

  • Legal, financial, tax, or other licensed professional advice

  • A guarantee of any particular outcome, income, or result

Mentee is encouraged to seek the appropriate licensed professional for matters outside the scope of coaching and mentorship. See our Disclaimer for additional detail.

Payment Terms

Fees for Mentorship are as stated at the time of enrollment. Payment is due in full at enrollment or according to an agreed payment plan and is processed through Stripe.

Refund policy: No refunds once a program begins.

We reserve the right to change pricing for future enrollments at any time. Changes will not affect a Mentorship arrangement already in progress.

Confidentiality

We will treat information shared by Mentee during Mentorship as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties, except:

  • Where Mentee gives permission (for example, to use a testimonial)

  • Where disclosure is necessary to protect the safety of Mentee or others

  • Where disclosure is required by law

Mentee is likewise encouraged to keep any proprietary frameworks, materials, or content shared during Mentorship confidential and for personal use only, consistent with our Intellectual Property / Digital Resource Terms.

No Guarantee of Results

While we are committed to providing valuable guidance and support, we do not guarantee any specific outcome, result, income, or transformation from participating in Mentorship. Results depend on many factors unique to each individual, including effort, consistency, and circumstances outside our control.

Mentee Responsibilities

To get the most from Mentorship, Mentee agrees to:

  • Attend scheduled sessions on time and come prepared

  • Communicate honestly and engage actively in the process

  • Follow through on agreed action items between sessions, to the best of their ability

  • Treat the mentor and any other program participants with respect

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours or 2 days’ notice. Sessions cancelled with less notice, or missed without notice, may be forfeited and are not eligible for a refund or make-up session, except at our discretion.

Termination

Either party may end the Mentorship arrangement at any time by providing written notice. If Mentee terminates before completing the program, refund eligibility (if any) will be handled according to the refund policy described in above.

We reserve the right to end a Mentorship arrangement immediately, without refund, if Mentee engages in abusive, unsafe, or disrespectful conduct, or otherwise violates these Terms.

Intellectual Property

Any templates, frameworks, worksheets, or other materials provided during Mentorship remain our intellectual property and are licensed to Mentee for personal use only, consistent with our Intellectual Property / Digital Resource Terms. Mentee may not reproduce, teach, or resell this material to others.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from Mentorship is limited to the amount Mentee paid for the specific program at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in Mentorship.

Code of Conduct

We are committed to a respectful, supportive coaching relationship. Mentee agrees not to engage in harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior toward the mentor or any other program participant. Violation of this section may result in immediate termination of the Mentorship arrangement without refund.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Mentorship Terms from time to time. If you are subscribed to our email list, we will notify you of material changes via email. Continued participation in Mentorship after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
